The power of Communism is rapidly and steadily increasing in Latin America. We now have far left presidents running Brazil, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. That’s most of South America. There are only a few remaining countries in South America which are not yet run by far left presidents.

It was founded in 1990. In 2001, Adolpho João de Paula Couto wrote a book titled “A Face Oculta da Estrela: Retrocesso, Falsidade e Ilusões (The Hidden Face of the Star: Retrocess, Insincerity, and Illusions)”. In it he documents the history of the Sao Paulo Forum. This book is available from Brazil in Portuguese at: http://www.livrariasaraiva.com.br/produto/463735/a-face-oculta-da-estrela (or otherwise by Googling the title or author).

This web page gives the foreword written by Carvalho to Paula Couto’s book. The foreword is titled "Making Essential Information Available Again". Carvalho describes Antonio Gramsci's strategy for cultural revolution by systematically removing essential information from society, and how this strategy has been successfully applied in Brazil. He says, “Today, it is in the assuredness, in the pompous and arrogant ease with which people who do not know anything about the subject assure us that Communism is a thing of the past while slavishly repeating Communist slogans (being unaware that they are Communist slogans) lies the best guarantee that the plans announced by Fidel Castro in the São Paulo Forum will be conducted with the foolish complicity of millions of quiet and self-satisfied fools. . . . Here [in Paula Couto’s book], for the first time, broad enough documentation has been gathered to demonstrate the inescapably conspiratorial, revolutionary, and Communist character of an organization that, in the eyes of the uninformed, still passes off as the embodiment par excellence of a left that is renewed, democratic, and purified of all contamination with the totalitarian past.”.
http://www.olavodecarvalho.org/english/other/091022interview_en.html In this 2009 interview, Olavo de Carvalho explains Lula da Silva and the Sao Paulo Forum. He says, “The São Paulo Forum, which is the vastest and most powerful political body that has ever existed in Latin America, goes on unknown to the American and, by the way, also worldwide public opinion.”. “The strategic command of the Communist revolution in Latin America is neither in Venezuela, nor in Bolivia, nor even in Cuba. It is in Brazil.”. “Nothing can illustrate better the duplicity of conduct to which I refer than the fact that, in the same week, Lula was celebrated both at the World Economic Forum in Davos, for his conversion to Capitalism, and at the São Paulo Forum, for his faithfulness to Communism.”. “Practically, since the middle of the 1990’s, there has been no left-wing party or entity that has not been affiliated with the São Paulo Forum.”. “The speed and efficacy with which its decisions are transmitted to the whole continent can be measured by its ongoing success in covering up its own existence, over at least sixteen years.”.
http://web.archive.org/web/20140102001219/http://theinteramerican.org/commentary/396-the-road-to-serfdom-in-venezuela This is a 2012 Nyquist article about Communist power in Venezuela, titled “The Road to Serfdom in Venezuela”. It discusses election fraud using electronic voting machines, and various other tyrannical practices by Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.
A new anti-American block is being formed in Latin America. The growing Communist power in Latin America is hidden and unknown – just as the continuing Communist power in Russia and Eastern Europe is hidden and unknown – just as the growing military power of both Russia and China is hidden and unknown.
Given these trends in Latin America, it seems very likely that after the nuclear beginning of World War III, America will be invaded from the south. Invasion from China seems very likely. There are a very large number of Chinese people. But the Chinese have to cross the Pacific Ocean to get to America. People from Latin America just need to drive north.
The Inter-American Institute is unusual in that it recognizes that the subjects of politics and philosophy and religion and morality are closely related. Numerous articles of interest are at:
