DEFINITION OF “CONSPIRACY”
“Conspiracy” means secret evil planning. The word “con-spire” comes from Latin roots which mean “together-breathe”. So “conspiracy” is “breathing together”. Given that it is secret, one could say, “conspiracy” is “whispering together”.
Evil men pretend to be good men. They are trying to steal or deceive or conquer the world or do something dishonest which people would disapprove of. They do not tell people outside their small group what they are going to do, or when, where, or how. They make their plans in secret. That’s what a “conspiracy” is.
CONSPIRACY IS TO BE EXPECTED
Do you think there might be dishonest men in government? Do you think any politician ever wanted to do something dishonest, something different from what he said he would do? The phrase “honest politician” is considered a joke, because politicians are routinely observed to be dishonest. Therefore one would expect conspiracy as the ordinary and usual state of affairs in all governments. One commonly hears about some petty dictator who has stashed away a few billion into Swiss bank accounts to provide for his own retirement.
Caesar was assassinated. That was a conspiracy. Hitler’s generals tried to assassinate him. That was a conspiracy. Stalin liquidated many of his generals because he worried about conspiracies. The paranoia of tyrants is routine and ordinary. The President of the United States has the Secret Service to protect him personally. So even in America, we think conspiracy is to be expected and guarded against.
Is there a conspiracy which dominates America, and thereby much of the world? Could things in America and the world be so wrong by accident? Politicians are often seen to say one thing and do another. What if there is a method in their madness? What if they are up to something? That would be a conspiracy. Wouldn’t you like to know what they are really doing? Wouldn’t you like to know what their objectives really are?
One might argue that the world really could be in such bad shape as it is, even without any conspiracy – “by accident” – because men are sometimes individually criminal and dishonest. But if men are sometimes criminals, then one would expect those criminals to get together and cooperate in their criminal activities. That would be a conspiracy.
A group is stronger than an individual. So criminals and would-be tyrants will naturally work together to further their agreed-upon objectives. We Liberty Lovers should also work together to further our agreed-upon objectives. We will be stronger if we do. George Washington could not have been the father of his country without a lot of support and cooperation from others. The bad guys are working together. The good guys also need to work together.
All criminal organizations are “conspiracies”. They plan in secret. Therefore they are “conspiracies” by definition.
Those who have achieved great wealth and power are often found to be ruthless and unprincipled. So it is to be expected that they will dream of ways to achieve even greater wealth and power. That would be a conspiracy.
When the rich and powerful scheme and plot together, that’s just another criminal organization. And it’s a “conspiracy” by definition. It’s just bigger. A lot bigger. A very great deal bigger.
THE NUMBER AND SIZE OF CONSPIRACIES
How many conspiracies are there? Is there one giant conspiracy? Or are there a great many very small conspiracies, without any relationship between one small conspiracy and another? Any two people planning very quietly to do something improper is a conspiracy. That may be an ordinary occurrence.
But in ordinary crime, it is routinely observed that “crime families” grow up. A crime family is a single criminal group which dominates some area, perhaps a city or a part of a large city. The small time criminals either play along with the big boys or they are eliminated.
Also it is well known that big cities, like Chicago and New York, commonly have a “political machine”. This is a political group which dominates the politics of the city, and which may or may not be related to the organized crime families. But they are certainly “conspiracies”. They are criminal. They play dirty.
A large conspiracy which dominates the whole country, or even many countries, would be a natural and similar development, but on a larger scale. Huge fortunes have been made in banking and in oil and in other activities. We call these people “super rich”. After they have made, say, a hundred billion dollars, what do you think they do next? Do you think they retire and collect art? Or do you think they plot about how to dominate the world?
Conspiracies are secret, so they like to be small groups. But if your secret plan is to rule the world, you need a large group. So you get “circles within circles within circles”. Only a few at the top know the whole picture. So even though it’s very big, it’s still a “small group” at the top. Others at lower levels may be important in some aspect of “the great conspiracy”, but they may not be aware of the grand strategy or of other activities in other areas. They don’t “need to know”. They get their instructions when necessary. They do their part. They know that it is better not to ask too many questions. They find that their loyalty is rewarded with wealth and power. They observe that disloyalty has penalties.
RIDICULE
The main thing that people involved in a conspiracy don’t want, is they don’t want any publicity. They do not want people to know what they are doing.
Therefore people involved in the conspiracy go to great lengths to prevent people from talking about conspiracy. They ridicule the idea of conspiracy. They don’t want people even thinking about such a possibility.
Ridicule is a “social force”. If you make it too embarrassing for anyone to even mention the possibility of conspiracy, then people will be prevented from thinking about it. They won’t see it. They won’t do anything to fix it.
If you are in business, and if somebody calls you a “conspiracy nut”, then you might get your bank loan cancelled. Or your big customers might go elsewhere. These are “financial forces”. The money trickles down from those who are extremely rich, and they do not want anybody thinking about “conspiracy”. Thus it is a forbidden word.
Political groups are dependent on raising money. Those who can raise money are highly regarded. But again, the money trickles down from the top. And at the top, they don’t want anybody talking about “conspiracy”. So the people who can raise money, mostly, are the people who don’t talk about conspiracy. It’s a forbidden subject.
REVERSING THE RIDICULE
What is needed is to reverse this. Anyone who pretends to understand world affairs and yet does not speak of conspiracy should be laughed at and ridiculed and scorned as incompetent or sold out. The professors at universities and the commentators on television are well paid to say what they say, and to avoid mentioning conspiracy, and to ridicule and defame those who do talk about conspiracy. The super rich own and control billions and even trillions of dollars. They can buy universities and television networks with pocket change.
It is often said that if you talk about conspiracy, then nobody will listen to you, and so you can’t accomplish anything helpful. But why is the fact of conspiracy such a great secret? Because it is very very important. The fact that the “Powers That Be” work so very hard to keep it a secret and to prevent anybody from even talking about it – that fact alone – demonstrates the great importance and value of talking about it and of making others aware of it.
It has not always been so obvious. But at this time, the Conspiracy has become so blatant, so aggressive, and so obvious, that it is high time to call it what it is, to call it a “Conspiracy”. Our “great leaders” are not doing their best for us. They are doing their best for themselves. They are doing their best to enslave us, to bring war down upon us, and to make us beggars in our own country. This needs to be stated, openly, plainly, and bluntly, so that no one can misunderstand.
If we cannot talk about it, then we cannot handle it.
NONE DARE CALL IT CONSPIRACY
In 1972, Gary Allen wrote a small book called “None Dare Call It Conspiracy”. This was over 40 years ago, but it’s still an excellent introduction.
Before that, in 1964, John Stormer wrote a book called “None Dare Call It Treason”. This is similar, but longer, and contains a lot of data.
Both of these books are available, in full, on the internet, for free.

Both of these titles are modeled on an old saying:
Treason doth never prosper: What’s the reason?
Why if it prosper, none dare call it treason.
This saying correctly points out that sometimes treason DOES prosper. And that when it does, almost no one dares to speak out against it because so many rich and powerful men are guilty.
You have free will and the power of choice. You can turn away from what is easy and do what is brave. Now is your chance to be heroic in the context of history. You can dare to call it treason and conspiracy.

"Both of these titles are modeled on an old saying:

It's not an "old saying" - it's a poem by Alexander Pope- despite the cynicism of the statement, he was very much an apologist for the Establishment.

This saying was written by Sir John Harington, 1561-1612, a member of the court of Queen Elizabeth.
